Meritworks Institute is a digital learning and coaching platform that helps creatives, neurodivergent thinkers, and burnout survivors recognize, articulate, and apply the real-world skills they’ve gained from lived experiences, hobbies, and unconventional paths. We specialize in skill transference, strategy, and values-aligned professional growth.

Skill transference is the process of applying abilities learned in one area of life—like caregiving, gaming, community work, or creative performance—to other settings such as job interviews, leadership, or entrepreneurship. You already have skills. We help you name them, frame them, and use them.

No. Meritworks Institute is an educational platform. While we center person-first, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming practices, we do not offer therapy or mental health services. However, we strongly encourage parallel care and are happy to refer out.

Most job coaching assumes you’re broken or lacking. We assume you’re already capable, but unrecognized. Our focus is on turning your lived experience into leverage — with real language, real tools, and a radically affirming approach that works with your brain and your story.

The Skill Transference Bootcamp is a 6-week program with lifetime access. Each module includes:

• Video lessons

• Reflection prompts

• Tools like worksheets, resume templates, and pitch builders

• Optional live calls and Slack community (if offered)

You can go at your own pace or follow the weekly structure.

No worries at all. You’ll have lifetime access to all course materials and updates. Come back to them anytime you need a reset or refresh.
